Located in the region of Fez-Boulemane, 579 m above sea level, on the fertile lands of Sais, between the rich forests of the Middle Atlas and the Rif, Fez is the heart and cultural capital, intellectual and spiritual Morocco.
Heritage of immemorial times when Fez, imperial capital, prevailed over much of the Maghreb, a multitude of remains and wealth are just waiting to be discovered by the visitors, especially behind the walls of the medieval city - the Medina. Spiritual city thanks to a famous Mosque-university Karaouiynme (once frequented by great scientists from all around the world), Fez is also the guardian of Arab-Moorish Art & treasures.
